Zirou Chen

I am a fourth-year doctoral student in Quantitative Marketing at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

My research interest lies in the economics of digitization and platform. I study how new (digital) technology, e.g., predictive technology, changes consumer behavior and influences firms' marketing strategy/social welfare. I also conduct research in the area of digital media consumption, e.g., on livestreaming services.

In addition to research, I enjoy traveling and watching documentaries, especially for music and food.
